Privacy policy

Rules for processing personal data and using cookies on the Method Press service (press.method-group.com). Last updated: 14 July 2026.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected via the Method Press service is Method Group. For matters relating to personal data protection, you can contact us at redakcja@method-group.com.

2. What data we collect and why

Method Press is a publishing service — reading articles does not require providing any data.

Newsletter and playbook. When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect your name and e‑mail address. We use them to send you the 'Marketing bez chaosu' playbook and subsequent newsletter issues. We also record IP address, sign-up date and the wording of the consent clause, which you agreed to — solely to be able to demonstrate who gave consent, when, and to what.

Cooperation and advertising form. We collect your name, company, e‑mail address and the content of your enquiry — in order to respond to it and prepare an offer.

Analytics. Only with your consent — details in section 4.

3. Legal basis

Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 398 of the Electronic Communications Law) — newsletter, consent to commercial contact, cookies and analytics tools. You can withdraw any of these consents at any time, and withdrawal is as easy as giving it. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

Our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — responding to enquiries sent via the form, defence against claims, and demonstrating that consent was given (accountability, Article 5(2) GDPR).

4. Cookies and analytics tools

By default, we do not set any cookies and do not run any analytics tool. On your first visit, we ask for your consent — only your choice determines what gets activated.

'Only necessary' — in the browser's local storage (localStorage) we save only the fact of your choice, so as not to ask again on every visit. This is not used for tracking and does not allow us to identify you. In that case we do not run anything else.

'Accept all' — we run via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited) the following tools:

Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) — visit statistics: which materials are read, where readers come from. The IP address is anonymised.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited) — click and scroll maps, and session recording, i.e. a record of cursor movements and clicks on the page. Clarity masks the content you enter into form fields — the recording does not contain your e‑mail address or the content of any message.

You can withdraw consent at any time via the link 'Cookie settings' in the site's footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Newsletter statistics. In the messages we send, we measure opens (invisible pixel), and link clicks. We do this to know which materials are useful to you. We do not combine this data with your activity on the site. Don't want to be tracked — unsubscribe with one click in the footer of any message; processing is based on the consent you gave when signing up for the newsletter.

5. Who we entrust data to and transfers outside the EEA

We entrust data only to entities that process it on our behalf, to the extent necessary for the purposes described above:

Netlify, Inc. (USA) — site hosting and form handling. This is where form submissions are received.
MailerLite (UAB 'MailerLite', Lithuania) — sending the newsletter and the playbook.
Google Ireland Limited — Tag Manager and Analytics (only with consent).
Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited — Clarity (only with consent).

Transfers outside the European Economic Area. Netlify processes data in the USA. Google and Microsoft may transfer data to the USA within their corporate groups. This takes place on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and — in the case of US providers — an adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework).

6. How long we store data

Newsletter — until consent is withdrawn. After unsubscribing, we retain only proof that consent was given and withdrawn (e‑mail address, date, wording of the clause) for the statute-of-limitations period, so that we can demonstrate we acted lawfully.

Form enquiries — for the duration of the conversation and up to 3 years after it ends (limitation period for claims).

Analytics data — in line with provider settings: Google Analytics up to 14 months, Microsoft Clarity up to 13 months.

Video materials (YouTube). In some articles, we embed videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). The video does not load automatically — until you play it yourself, your browser does not connect to YouTube's servers and no cookies from that service are stored. Only clicking play triggers the loading of the material in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); at that point YouTube may process playback data under its own terms. Playing the video cannot be undone from our site — you control this data via your Google account settings.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it or restrict its processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

8. Contact

For all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of your rights, write to us at redakcja@method-group.com.
