Stoneware up to 120×120 cm and 13 new collections — Stargres targets architects

Stargres from Końskie, one of the largest Polish producers of porcelain stoneware, enters 2026 with 13 new collections and ever-larger formats — speaking increasingly to the architect, not the contractor.

Stargres Sp. z o.o. from Końskie — part of Grupa Końskie, which declares over 27m sq m of tiles a year. Large-format, technical and outdoor stoneware, with a growing focus on assets for architects.

Stargres is a company based in Końskie, on Ceramiczna Street, and today one of the largest Polish producers of porcelain stoneware. It is part of Grupa Końskie — alongside Ceramika Końskie, Ceramika Color and the Bianca brand — which declares production of over 27 million square metres of tiles a year and exports to European markets. At this scale, a brand's position is decided not by production alone, but by how the material reaches a project.

Large format and technical parameters

The direction of the range is clear: ever larger slabs and increasingly technical applications. Stargres offers large-format stoneware in sizes up to 120×120 cm, technical tiles and outdoor products — in the STAR 2.0 and STAR 3.0 lines (thicker, for terraces and heavy-load zones). Product data sheets carry parameters that matter most in the design segment: slip-resistance classes from R9 to R12, low water absorption and frost resistance. This is the language used to speak to an architect and a developer, not a retail customer.

A season of premieres: 13 collections for 2026

For 2026, the producer has announced 13 new collections — among them Elements, Aragonit, Kyanit, Sawdust, Dessau and Organic. Some were shown at Cersaie 2025 and at Architect@Work meetings, and in the brand's communication the new series are described not as 'tile patterns' but as a stylistic statement for the designer. For a premium materials producer, such a season is both an opportunity and a challenge: over a dozen collections × multiple formats × surface finishes add up to an avalanche of materials, data sheets and visualisations, in which it is easy to lose track of the current version.

Materials created by Method Group

How the material actually reaches a project is becoming just as important — from ready-made CAD files to the technical parameters used to speak to an architect. That is a separate, growing front, which we cover separately.

For us at Method Press, Stargres is a model example of a premium producer where value is created at the intersection of product and presentation. Dozens of collections, formats and certificates can be either a single source of truth for the sales team and the architect — or scattered files in several places. The larger the portfolio, the bigger the gap between those two states.
