The first Sky Walk in a Polish residential tower — the 29-storey O27 in Katowice
A developer from Kielce enters Katowice with a scheme meant to change the city's skyline. O27 is not just a premium tower — it is a bet that the sales materials will match the architectural ambition.
O27 Apartamenty Opolska is the Kielce-based Trust Investment's debut in Katowice — and, right from the start, a scheme meant to change the city's skyline. Rising at Opolska 27, in a dynamically developing part of the city centre, the 29-storey tower will reach around 100 metres in height and offer more than 400 apartments finished to an elevated standard.
Sky Walk — the signature feature
The project's distinguishing feature is the Sky Walk: a glazed viewing platform cantilevered beyond the building's outline, planned at a height of about 100 metres on the southern side of the tower. Made entirely of glass, it is meant to give the impression of floating in the air with the panorama of Katowice spread out below. It is the first such solution in a Polish residential building — available exclusively to residents and their guests. In the premium segment, an element like this is not a gadget but the axis of the entire sales narrative.
A fully glazed facade
Katowice has never had a residential building with a fully glazed facade before — O27 is the first. Studio Forma Kuberski dropped plastic frames in favour of aluminium, with individual glass panes reaching up to 2.6 metres in height. The building offers 406 apartments ranging from 36 to 140 sq m, with windows giving panoramic views. It shows how much the material itself — quite literally, glass and aluminium — becomes a sales argument here.

A vertical neighbourhood
The tower has been designed in the spirit of high-rise living, with communal spaces distributed vertically. The 6th floor houses an intimate, well-equipped coworking space, while the 29th floor holds the Sky Lounge recreational area, with a glazed viewing section, an outdoor cinema and a BBQ zone. Completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2028, which means that for almost two years the developer will be selling something that does not yet exist — the toughest possible test for its materials and visualisations.
For us at Method Press, O27 is an example of a scheme whose success hinges on a consistent narrative sustained over years before completion. A developer from Kielce building a landmark in another city has to keep the quality of its messaging on par with its architectural ambition — because a premium buyer pays for the promise first, and only later for the square metres.
