Business with championship ambition — how DEVELOPRES tied its brand to sport in Rzeszów
Since 2012, the developer has been the sponsor of a volleyball club that travelled from the first division to the title of Polish Champions. It is one of the most visible examples of a development brand being tied to sport in the region.
From the club’s founding to the highest level
The KS DevelopRes women’s volleyball team was founded in April 2012, and the company has been its sponsor from the outset. The club’s timeline shows a rapid rise: promotion to the first division in the 2012/2013 season, promotion to the top flight in 2014 and a first medal (bronze) in April 2017. In the years that followed, the team returned to the podium regularly.
A breakthrough season and further trophies
The 2024/2025 season proved the breakthrough: for the first time in its history the team claimed the title of Polish Champions (the final against ŁKS Commercecon Łódź), having earlier, in February 2025, won the Polish Cup. In the 2025/2026 season the team secured the Polish Super Cup on 5 November 2025, and after losing the TAURON Liga final to PGE Budowlani Łódź it holds the title of Polish runners-up. The club operates as a separate legal entity — Klub Sportowy Developres Rzeszów S.A. — registered at the same address as the developer, with DEVELOPRES acting as main sponsor.
Not just volleyball
The company’s involvement is not limited to a single discipline — it also points to its support for the Equestrian Club in Leśna Wola. The DEVELOPRES example shows how a local developer can, over more than a decade, build brand recognition not only through developments but also through long-term support for sport — with the result that the company’s name is carried by a championship team.
