‘Live in the City’ — a Kraków estate in the spirit of the 15-minute city
Instead of just another estate — a self-sufficient district where everything is within a 15-minute walk. Henniger Investment's flagship project brings to life one of the most talked-about ideas in contemporary urban planning.
Henniger Investment, a Polish developer operating since 2006, is best known for a single, consistently developed project: Osiedle Wizjonerów in Kraków's Bronowice district, sold under the 'Mieszkaj w Mieście' brand. This is not a single development but a complex of several dozen buildings with over 2,200 apartments (ultimately around 45 buildings), designed by the acclaimed studio Medusa Group.
The 15-minute city, Polish style
The developer and architects built the concept on the '15-minute city' idea formulated by Professor Carlos Moreno — the premise that residents live best when all essential functions are within a fifteen-minute walk. The estate is being built in a quiet, well-connected part of Kraków, near Radzikowskiego and Armii Krajowej streets, roughly 15 minutes from the city centre, the main railway station and Balice airport. It is an urban-planning thesis translated into a specific address.
Not a building, a district
Wizjonerów is a self-sufficient urban fabric: active ground floors with services and shops, playgrounds, extensive green areas and a multi-purpose residents' club. The estate grows in stages — successive buildings (such as a 173-flat phase with 4–5 storeys above ground) add new frontages and shared spaces to the whole, rather than standing as isolated blocks.

Award and standing
The estate won the prestigious European Property Award in the Residential Development category, recognised for its architectural quality and a philosophy rooted in the best traditions of urban planning. For us at Method Press, 'Mieszkaj w Mieście' shows that a developer's strongest asset can be a coherent idea: the estate sells not square metres but the promise of a lifestyle — and that promise has to be told consistently through every stage.
