NSG Group at Glasstec 2026 — 200 years of the Pilkington brand and product premieres in Düsseldorf
NSG Group, the manufacturer of Pilkington-brand glass, will present its innovations at Glasstec 2026 – the world’s leading glass-industry trade fair in Düsseldorf on 20–23 October 2026.
This year’s theme for the NSG Group stand will be “200 years of tradition and innovation: the Pilkington brand”. The brand will also introduce sustainability initiatives such as renew:glass, operating under the makechange™ platform, which demonstrate NSG Group’s passion and commitment to positive change in this area.
At stand K15 in hall 10, visitors will be able to discover newly introduced, high-performance products and innovative solutions that meet a wide range of architectural requirements – regardless of complexity or budget constraints.

Key exhibits and innovations
Pilkington Mirai Øne™, the latest addition to the low-carbon Pilkington Mirai™ range, will be presented together with Pilkington Mirai™. Pilkington Mirai Øne™ is a more pragmatic, low-carbon alternative to standard float glass. It features an embodied carbon footprint more than 35% lower than standard float glass. Pilkington Mirai Øne™ is readily available and supports contemporary sustainability ambitions, helping to build a foundation for the future – with no difference in performance, quality or aesthetics.
NSG Group will also present its HomeComfort range, giving visitors the chance to see how glass can actively influence indoor comfort. In a dedicated HomeComfort zone, visitors will discover the HeatComfort™, LuxComfort™, DynamicComfort™ and SilenceComfort™ solutions, which show how modern glass technologies can enhance the comfort of everyday life. Each addresses different user needs, providing more light, warmth, privacy and quiet while supporting energy efficiency. One of the main features of the display will be the HeatComfort™ infrared glass radiator, using NSG TEC™ technology. Thanks to electrically conductive coatings, this NSG Group solution combines thermal comfort, modern design and a sustainable approach to construction.
Visitors will also be able to see Pilkington AviSafe™ – bird-protection glass designed to reduce bird collisions with building windows and façades. Thanks to a special pattern visible in UV light, far more visible to birds than to humans, Pilkington AviSafe™ combines bird protection with maximum transparency – allowing architects to support biodiversity without compromising on aesthetics.
NSG Group will also present two decorative glass collections. The “Inspired by Nature” collection is a stunning range of architectural glass inspired by the colours and shades of natural landscapes, while “Texture by Pilkington” is a broad offering of rolled patterned glass, giving architects and designers greater freedom to balance aesthetics, privacy and light transmission.
At the stand, visitors can explore the well-known Pilkington Suncool™ range combined with the latest low-carbon glass, Pilkington Mirai Øne™. Showing how high-performance glazing is constantly evolving, the display will also include Pilkington Suncool™ with Pilkington DataBoost™ technology. This latest solution was designed to address the problem of weakened wireless connectivity signals – it helps ensure reliable connectivity inside buildings of various types, without compromising glazing performance.
NSG Group will also present the latest addition to its solar-control glass range – Pilkington Reflite™ Vista. Combining a bold, mirror-like aesthetic with an exceptionally balanced visual experience from the interior, the product was developed in response to growing demand from architects. Thanks to a durable reflective coating applied to surface #1, Pilkington Reflite™ Vista creates a uniform, mirror-like appearance from the outside while providing a noticeably more comfortable view from within.
Another of the key exhibits will be Pilkington OptiView™ Ultra Protect – an ultra-clear laminated glass with anti-reflective coatings on surfaces #1 and #4, shown alongside standard Pilkington Optilam™ Clear laminated glass. The product delivers outstanding clarity, with total visible-light reflection reduced to just 1%, and the best possible viewing properties.
The stand will also feature a full-height wall of Pilkington Pyrostop® Line fire-protection glass. Available in fire-resistance classes from EI 30 to EI 120, this system makes it possible to create long, panoramic walls in which only a thin, vertical silicone joint runs between the panes – with no need for vertical profiles. The result is a highly transparent fire-protection solution that combines safety with architectural freedom.
Together, all the displays will showcase the scale of innovation across NSG Group. Visitors can discover even more using the online Global Product Directory – a simple way to explore the full range of products, technologies and solutions available worldwide.
The NSG Group team at Glasstec will be delighted to welcome customers and visitors who want to learn how Pilkington-brand glass solutions can support them.
