200 years of the Pilkington brand at WinDoGlass: innovations that are redefining comfort
During the upcoming WinDoGlass Innovation trade fair (25–26 September 2026, Kielce), the Pilkington brand will celebrate its 200th anniversary. Rather than focusing solely on its history, however, the Pilkington Polska team will present the future of window and door joinery – the new HomeComfort product line.
For the industry, the WinDoGlass Innovation trade fair is a space for premieres and key conversations about the market's direction. For the Pilkington brand, this year's edition is particularly significant. Founded in 1826 in the United Kingdom and today part of the global NSG Group, the brand has been setting standards in glass manufacturing for two centuries. Its presence at the fair is an opportunity to show how this heritage translates into modern solutions that improve quality of life in homes and offices.

HomeComfort: the home as an oasis of calm
The centrepiece of the stand will be the HomeComfort line. It is a set of glass solutions designed to create a space at home that is free from external stimuli. The LuxComfort glazing in this line allows effective and precise control of the light entering the interior, while the HeatComfort glazing has been designed to actively heat rooms. Both of these products will be on show at the WinDoGlass fair.
One of the key elements of the presentation will be DynamicComfort technology, which allows an instant transition from a fully lit room to intimate shading. HomeComfort is a response to the need for privacy and harmony, changing the way we perceive the function of windows in modern architecture.
Aesthetics and functionality
The Pilkington brand's presentation at the WinDoGlass fair will be complemented by products that improve visual and aesthetic comfort, including a wide range of patterned glass. It allows interiors to be filled with light while maintaining privacy, which is becoming a standard in modern homes and office spaces.
Ewelina Wójcicka, Marketing Communications Manager at Pilkington IGP, adds:
“Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Pilkington brand at the WinDoGlass fair is a perfect opportunity for us to show that behind two centuries of history stands technology that responds to very contemporary challenges. We do not present glass as a raw material, but as a tool for building comfort. The HomeComfort line offers concrete answers to the needs of people who, in their homes, seek quiet, privacy and reliable connection with the world.”
