Glass at the centre of the conversation about modern joinery — Pilkington IGP at Reynaers Connect
Two meetings will be held this autumn as part of Reynaers Connect – on 1 October in Przeszkoda and on 15 October in Tykocin. The events are aimed at joinery manufacturers, architects and contractors. Pilkington IGP will be one of the partners and will present glazing solutions for modern aluminium systems, including large-format structures. Prior registration is required for both events.
Reynaers Connect is a series of meetings devoted to solutions used in modern construction. The programme combines product and technical presentations with expert discussions and networking. Participants will see how aluminium systems, hardware, coatings and glass affect the functionality, performance and appearance of contemporary joinery and façades.
The first meeting will take place on 1 October 2026 at the headquarters of Reynaers Aluminium Polska in Przeszkoda. The second is scheduled for 15 October 2026 at the Castle in Tykocin, near Białystok.
From the aluminium system to the glass
At both meetings, presentations will be delivered by representatives of Reynaers Aluminium and the event partners: Sobinco, Dindecor, IGP Powder Coatings and Pilkington IGP.
The Pilkington IGP presentation will cover glass for special applications – insulating glass units with high thermal insulation and solar control properties, used among others in large-format window and façade systems. In such structures, the choice of glass affects not only the appearance of the glazing, but also the reduction of heat loss, protection against excessive overheating of interiors and user comfort.
A conversation instead of a catalogue presentation
Reynaers Connect has been designed as an industry meeting in which presentations serve as a starting point for conversations about design, manufacturing and installation. Participants will be able to compare solutions from different suppliers and discuss their applications directly with experts.
Szymon Piróg, Head of the Technical Advisory Office, adds:
“With large glazed areas, glass is part of the entire system, not a separate component selected at the end of the project. Its parameters affect the building's energy balance, solar protection and the comfort of people using the interiors. At Reynaers Connect we want to show what to look for when choosing insulating glass units for aluminium systems, and how to translate project requirements into a specific solution.”
Programme of the meetings
Both events will follow a similar agenda:
09:00–10:00 – welcome and networking over morning coffee,
10:00–15:00 – product and technical presentations by experts, with coffee breaks,
15:00–16:00 – lunch, one-to-one consultations with experts and closing of the event.
The meeting in Przeszkoda will take place on 1 October 2026 at the headquarters of Reynaers Aluminium Polska. The meeting in Tykocin is scheduled for 15 October 2026 at Tykocin Castle.
The number of places at both meetings is limited, so participation requires prior registration.
